Design is presently under way for BMY’s second LEED Certified church project, First Christian Church of Selma, CA. See “BUILDING GREEN”.
In September BMY will begin construction of a $3.25M Occupation Education Building on the State Center Community College campus in Madera, CA With seven very closely contested bids, BMY was the lowest responsive bidder by only $12,000.

Russell Yemoto, President of BMY, was recognized April 25, 2008 by the Fresno Builders Exchange at their annual banquet.

Russell Yemoto
provides over 40 years of experience in construction. With third generation roots in local
agriculture, he is a graduate of Central Union High School and Fresno State, College of
Engineering (BS, Civil Engineering).
Russell's experiences in construction started in college with internships at California Department of Water Resources and Fresno County Department of Public Works, followed by four years of service in the USAF with a commission (Captain) in Heavy Repair/Construction.
Following employment with the Corps of Engineers and as Project Engineer with F. J. Early Corporation, Russell commenced an 18-year relationship with Harris Construction Company, Fresno, in 1976, and was a Corporate Vice President for 10 years.
In 1993 Russell joined Mauldin-Dorfmeier Construction to successfully begin the long and challenging process of establishing a group to consistently perform private sector work within a predominately public sector construction company. Project delivery in the private sector steadily and successfully grew to an annual business volume consistently exceeding $20 million.
In addition to providing leadership as President of BMY Construction Group, Inc., some of Russell's primary activities include marketing and securing opportunities to provide value in serving clients' needs, review of all major proposals and finalizing of all contracts.
Russell is professionally certified by the
Construction Management Association of America
and is continually active in supporting the construction professions and education.

As Principal/CFO of BMY Construction Group, Inc.,
Eric Bower brings over 15 years of experience in the
construction industry to the company resume. After attending Fresno City College, Eric went
to work for Quiring General in early 1997. There he was introduced to the private sector of
construction as an estimator and project engineer. At Quiring Eric was responsible for
estimating over $37 million of work, including such projects as medical, health care, church,
professional offices and destination resorts.
Eric joined Mauldin-Dorfmeier Construction, Inc. in the fall of 1999 as a Project Engineer, where he worked in the field on the Eagle Mountain Casino project. In the year 2000, Eric began a career in Project Development as a Senior Estimator performing conceptual estimates and budgets, hard bidding select projects in the private sector division of Mauldin-Dorfmeier, and design coordination of design/build projects. Included were medical, church, gaming, industrial, professional offices, hospitality and historic renovation projects totaling over $50 million of work.
As Principal/CFO of BMY Construction Group, Inc., Eric's responsibilities include all aspects of managing preconstruction phase services, including conceptual estimating, preliminary budgeting, contract negotiations, and firm pricing of all construction projects. Additionally, Eric handles the corporate insurance, bonding, purchasing, and takes an active role in marketing of the company. “I enjoy and take pride in seeing one of our projects come to life and become reality. I have experienced the pleasure of hearing clients tell me that their ‘building construction experience was painless’, and that is worth a lot.”

As Vice President/Operations Manager of BMY Construction Group, Inc.,
Steven Mitchell brings over thirty years experience in the
construction industry to the company resume. Steven began his career as an architectural
draftsman with locally renowned Architect Arthur Dyson. He worked his way through the
construction industry as carpenter, foreman, superintendent, project manager and senior
project manager at DMC Construction.
While with DMC, Steven managed numerous public works, medical and private sector projects. Moving to Harris Construction Company, Inc. in 1991, Steven worked as Project Manager, managing industrial and public works projects totaling $28 million. These projects included an addition to, and remodel of, Danish Creamery and construction of a new middle school campus in Merced, CA, which was completed three months ahead of schedule and under budget.
In 1997 Steven joined Mauldin-Dorfmeier Construction, Inc. as a Project Manager where he was responsible for projects totaling over $98 million. Included are industrial, museum, gaming, schools, historic renovation, civil, church, senior care facility and medical projects.
As Vice President/Operations Manager of BMY Construction Group, Inc., Steven‘s responsibilities include overseeing all BMY work in progress and monitoring of budgets, costs, and schedules of the work once construction begins. “I have always been involved with and enjoyed watching the project being built from start to finish. I take seriously the responsibility of making sure the work is completed, while meeting the owner’s desires, budgets and schedules.”
